The Connecticut Film Initiative, LLC is a women owned partnership that is focus on developing film opportunities in the state of Connecticut while providing lucrative resources for upcoming artists. With both an entertainment and unique Film for Therapy Division (FFT), CTFI focuses on bridging together filmmaking and local community outreach. Through the Film for Therapy division, CTFI works with local non-profits that are promoting social changes. Utilizing film as the medium for healing and promotion for organizations missions, members come together to create powerful pieces of art with a message. Our Entertainment Division focuses on creating films with strong female presence while being a visual tool for addressing underlying social messages. Original work written and produced by CTFI members will allow members to come together and collaborate on pieces that best exercise their unique strengths as artists. Both divisions aim to create networking and professional opportunities for artists in every film niche to promote work they feel good about while strengthening the filmmaking community. CTFI's mission is that dedicated filmmakers eager to get on set, work hard, and promote work that best exercises their artistic strengths, will build a strong and lucrative platform for all emerging and experienced artists.
