Meteor Film was established in 2013, and ever since we've been shopping for the German-language rights to the most interesting movies and TV series out there, regardless of genre; and we release those movies, some theatrically or on TV, most of them as a high-quality DVD or blu-ray premiere and all of them digitally, too, on all the streaming platforms from iTunes, Amazon and Google to the likes of Netflix & Co. But no matter where you find our films, you'll always feel the lifeblood of our team in them, and the one great thing that stands behind it all: a neverending passion for cinema. We have about 35 movies and TV series in our line-up so far, and we're adding 10 to 12 more titles every year. What started out with Icelandic musical cult drama METALHEAD, claustrophobic thriller BENEATH and zombie apocalypse fun THE BATTERY, has since grown into a great caleidoscope of entertaining and exciting films catering to every taste. There's bloody snacks for all horror fans out there, like Dutch scythe slasher THE WINDMILL MASSACRE or the nailbiter killer hunt in TELL ME HOW I DIE. Friends of elegant thrillers might fall for the star-studded road movie MEAN DREAMS, the dark and nasty Belgian Oscar contender THE ARDENNES, the excitingly erotic GEHEIMES VERLANGEN or the sensationally stylish Tarantino hommage TO KILL A MAN. If it comes to the most epic moments of the world's biggest battles, look no further because sprawling and lavish Russian World War blockbusters like RED SNIPER and 28 SOLDIERS deliver big time in that department. Apocalyptic dystopian science fiction will be served with six-part Arte SciFi series TREPALIUM, and the little ones will definitely enjoy the enchanting and wonderful TV animation series SUMM SUMM SUPER!, as seen on Disney Channel. And if you miss a nostalgic look back into the past of cinema in the middle of all these new and fancy films: On a regular basis, Meteor is releasing cinematic classics of the stranger kind, lovingly remastered, pa
