www.brooklynk.worksBrookLynk is a youth employment program directed by the Cities of Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park which exists to coordinate partnerships that prepare employers to engage the next generation of workers and to connect young people in the Brooklyns facing barriers to employment with the skills, experiences and professional social networks needed to develop their pathway to college and career. BrookLynk is dedicated to addressing our regional talent needs by preparing highly motivated young people to be our future workforce. Since 2015, BrookLynk has trained over 400 young people with work-readiness training and coordinated nearly 200 paid summer internships with over 20 employers across various industries. BrookLynk has been proud to partner with committed employers of all sizes and industries - from large multinational companies to small family-owned businesses to local government agencies and school districts - to address our regional workforce needs. Through the collaborative efforts of BrookLynk and local employers, young people in the Brooklyns are connected to the experience, skills, and social capital they need to become the future generations of engineers, entrepreneurs, civic and business leaders.
