We are an 11-16 specialist Science, Mathematics and Training school. We aim to inspire students to be independent and creative thinkers who have high aspirations, who have a positive learning experience. We have a ‘joined-up’ approach to education where students and staff work together as a team, ensuring effective progress for all. We place a high value on self awareness. This is a key to understanding how people are motivated, how they think and feel and how they manage their emotions. We encourage all to think their way through problems to find the right solution. By doing this we prepare our students for the challenges that lie ahead in their futures, which are not yet envisaged. We encourage thought and innovation by positive reinforcement and by valuing an individual’s opinions. We have high expectations of progression and behaviour.
