Security Risk Assessment is neither a Risk Management report nor a Health and Safety report. There is a vast difference between Risk Management and a Security Risk Assessment. Security Risk Assessment is simple: Risk is where a threat and an opportunity overlap. Risk assessment is not a witch-hunt. It’s a hunt to find the truth—nothing more, nothing less. A Security Risk Assessment is also the foundation for your security. Furthermore, it tells you when security stops and when safety should start. Sadly, not everyone understands the difference between security and safety.
