Lead Investor Incorporated is a member led organisation committed to finding, funding and mentoring great entrepreneurs and young companies from pitch through to successful exit. The group is made up of an independent consortium of 19 individual investors. The strength of the group is its ability to pool its money to make investments, to mentor entrepreneurs to help them achieve their goals, to provide access to resources to create efficiency and to make introductions that can accelerate growth. We typically invest $100,000-$10 million in start-up/ seed/early stage companies, and syndicate deals with venture capital and angel group partners for deals greater than $10 million. Because of the vast experience of our members, the group is receptive to a wide variety of industry sectors. We meet monthly, to screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
