Nathan's Playroom is a 501(c)3 public benefit charity providing support services focused on the siblings of seriously or chronically ill children. Our organization is funded solely by the donation of funds and new in-package toys to be used in our programs, from both individuals and businesses. We partnered with Make-A-Wish of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana to provide toys for every wish granted in the Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. We have three programs: Nathan's Playroom Youth Council, Sibling Star, and Wish Sibs. Nathan's Playroom Youth Council The Nathan's Playroom Youth Council is made up of youth ages 11-18 who support the mission of Nathan's Playroom through activities and service for the kids we serve.The Youth Council performs various services such a providing movie nights for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana, event support at the Riley Hospital for Children NICU Reunion, as well as volunteer support at other community events. Sibling Star is reserved for the siblings of seriously or chronically ill children, the Sibling STAR is an annual award for those who embody the mission of Nathan's Playroom by displaying excellence in five core values: Family, Community, Compassion, Service, & Self. Wish Sibs provides all toys for the initial meeting between wish family and wish-granting volunteer, not only for the wish child, but their siblings as well! Each toy is specifically selected for each child, based on their individual interests.
