Terrán Rooftile Manufacturer Ltd. is a succesful family business operating in the building material industry. The head office is based in Bóly, a traditionally industrial town located in Baranya County in the Southern part of Hungary. With our two Hungarian and one Slovakian high tech manufacturing plants we are one of the leading manufacturers of the Central and Eastern European region. Our sales system is focusing on the markets of the neighboring countries. Being a family business our business model is based on high quality products and long-term customer relationships. Kálmán Mészáros started his concrete based tile manufacturing business in Negyed, which is now a Slovakian town. The hand crafted, so-called „Meszaros-tiles” can be found on the surrounding roofs for nearly 90 years. In 1993 Vilmos Mészáros took over the family business and started using a half-automatic machine. Today the manufacturing technology is fully automatic, compliant with the European standards. In 1997, the third generation of the family entered into the family’s business and the rapid technological development started at the same time. In 2000 Terran Slovakia Ltd. was established in Farkasd in Slovakia, where we installed an automatic production line system. This development further guarantees the secure and continuous product supply and high quality services. In 2008 we installed another high tech plant in Kunszentmiklós (Hungary), which was followed by the reconstruction of the plant of Bóly in 2012.
