The Leadership and Achievement Academy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer based organization determined to ignite the intellectual qualities of young scholars by providing school-aged girls and boys exposure to project based learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We offer unique programs such as our STEM-Law, The Great STEM Escape Room and STEM Sports Science programs. It is our goal as an organization to always give our scholars the best opportunity to be successful, whether it is personally, academically or athletically by providing financial support for academic enrichment and community-based programs sponsored by The Leadership and Achievement Academy, Inc. We are based in Richmond, Virginia and are endorsed by the Richmond Public School System as a bonafide academic provider in varying capacities and at multiple grade levels. We have also successfully partnered with Richmond Parks and Recreation, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech, Virginia State University and have won numerous grants from Ford, Inc. and Lowes, Inc. to deliver rigorous in- and after-school and summer academic programs. Our premier academic program is our award-winning STEM-Law program that has been recognized by locally by RVA Feast and RVA Tech, and nationally by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) as a 2017 and 2018 Innovator in Technology Education.
