Education at Jefferson Academy encourages reason, respect, and responsibility as students are guided through a nature based program focusing on a commitment to academic excellence, leadership skills, and dedication to community service. We are a private elementary school located in Jefferson County, West Virginia. Our students are offered a challenging academic curriculum as well as a wide variety of enrichment classes including art, yoga, environment and sustainability, and Spanish instruction for all grade levels. We have an emphasis on building fine character, small class sizes, and project based and experiential learning. We have a safe environment in a tranquil, 30-acre rural setting and caring professional faculty and staff.
