Verve Cycling was formed early in 2013. True progression in performance requires precise and true data from the source - the cranks of the bicycle. Together with our partners, we developed the first direct measurement power meter - the InfoCrank - where complex algorithms are not required to estimate the power applied to make the bike go forward. Instead, the torque is measured accurately 256 times per second and with accurate cadence measurement, we then have precise and true watt numbers. This innovation is not only useful for the racing and triathlon community, but also for physiotherapists and doctors who need to know which muscles are firing and for athletes who need rehabilitation therapy. The application has also been extended into other sports and health areas.
