Sonja Williams and Associates, LLC welcomes persons of all faiths, ages and orientations. We offer individual, couple, youth and group therapy experiences aimed at enhancing personal improvement, relationship skills development, emotions management, decision-making, communication and conflict resolution skills, parenting and life management skills, and managing anxiety, depression and other illnesses. As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, I have helped repair and enrich marriages and interpersonal relationships for more than twenty years. I obtained an undergraduate degree in family studies, and a Master of Divinity degree, focused on pastoral counseling for couples and families. Complimenting my field experience, I have also completed a Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy. At the University of Maryland, I became an adjunct faculty member, and supervised marriage and family therapy graduate students. I was also an adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins University, teaching graduate level marriage, and family therapy courses. While serving as a psychiatric therapist and faculty at Johns Hopkins, I have launched my own private therapy practice (Sonja Williams and Associates, LLC.,) and a couples and family coaching service called, LoveSavers International, Inc.
