DeKalb County Insurance, representing Erie and several other preferred companies, is an all-lines independent agency. The agency was established in May of 2011 in Smithville, Tennessee. The agency’s principal agent, Jeff James, has more than 33 years of experience working in insurance. Jeff's nephew, Grant James, became his business partner in April of 2017. Jeff and Grant are experienced in all lines of insurance and have a strong work ethic. The staff is very knowledgeable and is consistently keeps up on insurance education.
