As a young child, the Bernadette Stunder spent many mornings watching "Pat the Yorkie" play in a neighbor's yard. It was love at first sight. Years later, when she and her family bought their first home, she finally got yorkie of her own. "Nina" was the first of ten yorkies that would join the family over the next 30 years. After more than three decades living with and experiencing yorkies firsthand, she has learned that each one is unique and possesses their own individual personality. Through her words, she wants to bring you into her world to enjoy these little dogs and hopefully love them as much as she does. In addition to writing, she has many interests and hobbies including building miniature dollhouses, crafting, and playing the piano. However, it is spending time with her family; her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her beloved yorkies, that brings her the greatest pleasure.
