Are you a booklover? Great! You are in the right place. The Women's National Book Association (WNBA) is a professional literary organization nonprofit focused on amplifying the voices of women and marginalized communities in the book world. Our members include publishers, writers, editors, publishing professionals, booksellers, librarians, educators, and general booklovers. We have chapters across the country as well as a Network membership available to anyone who is not close to one of our 11 chapter cities. If you are looking to learn about books, to attend literary events, for professional development, for networking opportunities, to join a book club, to enter a writing contest, to volunteer, or to be part of a literary community filled with other booklovers, becoming part of the WNBA community may be the right option for you. Here are some quick facts about us: -we've been around since 1917 -we are an inclusive organization that welcomes all genders and all professions -we've been an NGO member of the United Nations since 1959 -we have multiple awards, contests, and programs that are well-regarded in the literary world -we produce over 100 events across for members (and often nonmembers) to attend annually We believe that books have power. If you do too, sign up for our newsletters (https://bit.ly/Bookwoman) to learn more about us.
