Full-service municipal government serving the citizens of El Dorado, Kansas. We provide law enforcement, fire protection, street maintenance, park maintenance, recreation programming, development review and permitting, community marketing, refuse service, and water and sewer utilities. The City of El Dorado is governed by a five-member City Commission elected at-large to represent the citizens of the community. The City Commission appoints a City Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the municipal organization. The City's annual operating budget is $17.4 million and we operate with about 150 full-time employees.
