With a vision of Healthy People in Healthy Communities, the Central District Health’s (CDH) emphasis is on decreasing risk factors for chronic disease, improving quality of life, and increasing the years of healthy life among residents. CDH serves Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties through its many programs and services, including Community and Environmental Health, Preventive Health, Communicable Disease Control, Public Health Preparedness, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). CDH provides these services through its offices located in Boise, McCall and Mountain Home.
