While working in state government, the Alpha Design & Consulting founders worked in a program area responsible for writing and developing procedures, forms, and various training documents. While performing that work, they realized there were several gaps in how training was thought about and designed which subsequently had an adverse impact on how the end-users were responding to the training. Those observations led the team to engage in discussions with each other about pursuing opportunities for formal and practical knowledge that could help close training design and development gaps and replace them with carefully crafted learning experiences that were meaningful to all stakeholders. From that journey, the vision of Alpha Design and Consulting was born. Alpha Design & Consulting is a minority-owned Instructional Design firm with it's founders having over 20 years of combined educational, training, leadership, customer-centered, and government experience, Alpha Design & Consulting specializes in the analysis, design, development, evaluation, and delivery of meaningful learning experiences for an engaged, diverse, and sustainable workforce.
