The Mindfulness Foundation has started a grass roots Mindfulness in Schools Campaign that empowers people to take effective action to bring about change to make mindfulness education available to all 9 million UK school children by 2022. Its goal is to increase happiness and resilience in children while improving student outcomes. Our Mindfulness in Schools Campaign will influence decision makers and raise awareness to support policy-level initiatives with the help of impassioned supporters who are willing to advocate on this important issue. There's no replacement for direct contact between elected officials and voters, decision makers and their constituents, or newspaper editors and their readers.
