Introduction and Background The Association of Consulting Surveyors Victoria, trading as Consulting Surveyors Victoria, (CSV) represents the private sector of the land surveying profession in Victoria. Our member firms are leaders in an industry that is broad-based, multi-disciplinary and technologically advanced. CSV currently has over one hundred and twenty member firms spread across Victoria. These firms stay at the forefront of industry, planning and legislative updates largely due to their membership of CSV, through its advocacy, member alerts, newsletter, seminars and training courses. The Association takes pride in its ongoing working relationships with industry, government bodies such as the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria (SRBV), Land Use Victoria and infrastructure bodies dealing with the provision of property services. CSV sees its role to assist member firms to develop, maintain and provide an efficient service for the benefit of the community. CSV’s Board comprises nine elected and two appointed directors. The President is appointed from the Board on an annual basis. The Board meets up to eleven times a year, face to face, to approve policy and budget issues and provide direction for the association.
