Founded in 2000, the company has expanded rapidly and currently has a team of around 160 professionals managing a portfolio of diverse consumer loans worth £1.5bn. It also has a mature bond franchise, having issued over £2.5bn of mortgage backed securities via 17 securitisations since 2002. Bluestone is owned by a mix of private and institutional shareholders including Macquarie Bank.
