Planet Indonesia is a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States that partners with our Indonesian-based nonprofit branch, Yayasan Planet Indonesia. We provide community-based services to reduce socio-economic inequalities in rural communities. Our international team promotes cultural identity and sustainable resource management to build resilient communities through catalyzing conservation at the grassroots level. Planet Indonesia was named a winner of the 2017 United Nations Development Program Equator Initiative for advancing nature-based local solutions for sustainable development. Planet Indonesia provides community-based services in three sectors: business, education, and healthcare in exchange for protecting and resorting some of the world’s most critical ecosystems.
