Cuprite Productions was founded by Xander J Turian in 2012. "My initial idea was to put together a film team to create a movie to promote my own band, Our Untold Story. The movie 'Who the Hell are Our Untold Story!?' I realized, was just the start of something bigger than I could of possibly imagined. It is a stepping stone that we have all used to gather momentum and the network needed to pursue a wider cause. My Idea when I started localbandstuff.com was to help local bands to market themselves and their merchandise. I realized, when trying to promote OUS that there was no real service that existed to help bands with this vital part of their everyday life. The main theme was to allow bands to have their own page on the site with a short interview/presentation that we would provide, along with promotional photographs where the band would model their own merch. and perhaps a promotional video including samples of their music While we were putting together the film project it struck me, I have a team already in place, why don't we provide a full package solution?"
