Skill Bud provides win-win opportunities for students, colleges and companies in terms of growth & development in different perspectives. Our training program supports the purposes of colleges, which includes, “facilitating the development and guiding the direction to the students.” Our skilled workforce Readiness responsibilities include “serving as a trainer, providing opportunities to students to learn new skills & grow professionally.” SKILL BUD is not a business but it is an association, which is working for the benefit of the students. We have taken an initiative to train Students & Professionals to match the industry standard. Currently, India lags far behind in imparting skill training as compared to other countries. Only 10% of the total workforce in the country receives some kind of skill training (2% with formal training and 8% with informal training). Further, 80% of the entrants into the workforce do not have the opportunity for skill training.
