The Brown Design Workshop is a student-run and managed makerspace and machine shop at Brown University, open 60 hours a week to members of the Brown & RISD community. We're located in Prince Lab near the intersection of Brook and Waterman streets in Providence, RI. Membership is free. We offer introductory and advanced workshops in woodworking, metalworking, laser cutting, 3D printing, and soldering daily – check our calendar for our schedule. We always have monitors on duty to help you! They are identifiable by their aprons.
