ALEGRIA Community Living supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Alegria was created to support individuals moving into the community from Agnews & Sonoma Developmental Centers, locked institutions that were closed. Alegria developed homes to provide safe, secure, and lasting environments for adults. Nine homes were developed across the Bay Area, with six in Alameda County and three in Contra Costa County. Alegria has continued to grow since its inception, now offering counseling services, a training program, and a carefully developed individualized day program for residents of our homes. The main office supporting the homes is based out of 410 7th Street in Oakland, California, United States.
