The need for after care has dramatically heightened due to all of our circumstances effected post Covid. If you add the ingredient of child loss and the trauma that follows, and health care being stretched, it quickly became apparent to us, that there are couples and families dealing with this alone. Isolated. They need our charity. They need that sanctuary and support. Its a lifeline. There are things that you or I cannot do, what nature can, unexplainable things. 'Fresh air' isn't just an age old phrase. Its real. It exists. Out in the sticks. The natural world creates it and shares it with us all. But in a world where most Western countries inhabitants populate urban and city environments, the positive benefits just don't make it into the concrete laden cities, because there is an invisible war occurring, where natural, good clean air is fighting to filter the toxic polluted man made air. There is also a huge beneficial factor, in that nature isn't demanding. It asks very little, if anything at all. I could argue that it is effortless to sit cross legged on the ground, silent, overlooking a glade of wild garlic or bluebells, or the sounds of a stream nearby or birdsong. Not one single demand. Just benefit. The Forest Agency of Japan, which in the early 1980s began advising people to take strolls in the woods for better health, were kind of the forerunners of this approach. The practice was called forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, and its purpose, to lower stress. This charity was setup in memory of our own son, Tommy Blue, who lived for only 13 hours. We want to offer sanctuary and help those effected, come to terms with what has set a storm to their seas, and find calm and direction. Can you help us help them?
