Waterberg Economic Development Agency (WEDA) is a regional economic development agency established by the Waterberg District Municipality to serve as an external delivery mechanism for the municipality’s local economic development (LED) activities and initiatives. The main goal of the agency is to unlock the latent development potential of the Waterberg region and to act as a facilitation vehicle that encourages private sector investment and creates economic opportunities for the poor.
