CFS Rica was established in 2001 and provides technology, services and support solutions in the Customer Registration space. Our technology has been designed for use in formal and informal environments. Ease of use, reliability and robustness are key attributes that characterise our technology. In the global market, where many solutions are converging onto Smart Phones, we believe that a place exists for “low theft value” terminals and peripherals that are built for a specific purpose. Currently, there is a huge demand to reach and register the “great unbanked” in Africa and Asia. Coupled with this registration requirement is the need to remove paper from the process by doing “paperless registrations”. CFS Rica’s technology, services and solutions can help organisations achieve this. CFS Rica would therefore like to partner with in-country service providers to introduce this technology and provide these services and solutions to organisations looking to register customers and at the same time offer value added services to them. Over the last 27 months, CFS Rica has implemented an end-to-end sim card/customer registration solution for all the local network operators in South Africa, namely Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, Virgin Mobile and Telkom.
