All-Star Vets engages Veterans in sports, recreation, and other wellness related activities in order to improve their overall quality of life! From individual and team sports to hiking, yoga, massage, softball, surfing and other more holistic modalities designed to help a person stay balanced and in optimum health. We are actively looking to pair veterans, active duty military and their families with opportunities to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle. Our end goal is in assisting with improvements in the lives our brothers and sisters in arms who are brave enough to serve their country and to keep them engaged in community...the brotherhood and camaraderie does not have to end upon EAS. Additionally we are keenly aware of the role of the caregivers and of the spouses and extended family networks we create as members of the military community. We seek to involve and be as inclusive as possible. There are no requirements to qualify other than being a veteran, active servicemember, spouse, caregiver or supporter of any of these mentioned groups. We feel that our model of being as collaborative and networked as possible in our communities, that we can accomplish great things that won't only benefit our target populations but also to engage our civilian counterparts and help to instill patriotism and help our fellow citizens to learn and understand what it is that our veterans and our military community need in terms of supports. As we learn collectively we can in turn rally around our veterans and provide them with supports and encouragement they deserve. All the while we are conducting 'business' by having a great time participating in sports, recreation etc.., we aim to inspire patriotism in the communities we engage with. Patriotism will always play a key role in our events whether that involves a color guard for opening ceremonies or simply a moment of silence before we step off on a hike. We will never forget.
