zukunftsgeraeusche GbR (zkg), based in Berlin and Munich, is an office and interdisciplinary research platform for projects in architecture, urban and societal development, engineering, education for sustainable development (ESD) and Baukultur. The current partners of zukunftsgeraeusche are Robert K. Huber and Peter Winter. The projects reach from experimental building and urban planning to conceptual art and performance, from the curation of cultural festivals, participatory and interactive projects to exhibitions, panel discussions and lectures. Main topics are sustainable building and cities, reuse and recycling strategies, large housing estates, modern societies and politics, Bauhaus and the heritage of Modernism. zukunftsgeraeusche, founded in 2005 in Munich and established as zukunftsgeraeusche GbR in 2008, is since 2009 cooperating with the Technical University of Berlin (TUB) as its scientific and educational partner. In many projects within the last ten years this has been a growing and successful cooperation.
