The Digital Box, nata nel 2013, è stata fondata da Roberto Calculli insieme a sviluppatori senior e esperti in marketing con l'obiettivo di progettare e realizzare tecnologie innovative in ambito Marketing, Comunicazione e Service per il mercato delle PMI. 
Nel 2016 con l'acquisizione di Questit, società esperta nello sviluppo di piattaforme di Artificial Intelligence, The Digital Box si trasforma in un “AI First Company”.
Nel 2017 viene presentata ADA, la prima AI Conversational Marketing Platform; 
Nel 2018 viene lanciata Algho, la piattaforma di creazione di assistenti Artificial Human potenziati da Intelligenza Artificiale.
