Choirs of America - Unique and Highly Educational Choral Festivals
www.vocalmusic.orgOur tagline at Choirs of America is “Welcome to the Revolution!” We started operations in 2010 with this war-cry because we couldn't fathom why festival options at the time were so expensive and so educationally bereft. We set out to revolutionize and disrupt the age-old choral festival model... to make it unique, cost-effective, engaging, and highly educational. In a word... Revolutionary! Although we've accomplished much in a few years, we will never stop innovating and promoting best-practices in choral music education and festival opportunities. Ours is (and always will be) a socially-responsible, inspiring, education-first business model. When you work with Choirs of America, you can feel good knowing that we were created by and for choral directors. We are not a corporate conglomerate funneling student money to private equity funds and their investment bankers. We are a business run by like-minded teachers and industry leaders (with decades of public school and university choral music education experience) dedicated specifically to supporting choral music educators. Quite simply, we are creating a BIG wave in the educational festival industry, disrupting, and challenging the cookie-cutter mentality that is prevalent among the more established festival companies: We BELIEVE that choirs deserve access to the FINEST educators, educational programming, and venues possible. We BELIEVE in ACCESSIBILITY for all and maintain the lowest priced, content-rich festival options in the industry. We BELIEVE in providing the HIGHEST VALUE PROPOSITION for all of our students and teachers. We BELIEVE that students develop best in a COLLABORATIVE environment that promotes inclusion and diversity. We BELIEVE in working with the ABSOLUTE BEST teaching faculty at every one of our programs. We would love to collaborate with you and your choir for a future festival program. If you get a chance, check us out at www.VocalMusic.org. And... Welcome to the Revolution!
