Hope Support Services offers support to young people aged 11 and over when a close family member is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, such as cancer. Online support is available nationally and we also have a face-to-face service in Herefordshire. Nationally, young people aged 11-25 in a family health crisis can access Hope Online at www.hopesupport.org.uk/online-support, where they can access one-to-one support via Facebook, Skype or email, as well as a moderated peer support Facebook group. In Herefordshire we also offer youth sessions and ‘Hope on the Road’ trips where the young people get the chance to meet others their age going through a similar situation, learn new skills or chat privately to Hope's professional support team.
