Fun Facts: Tourism pioneer Brad Phillips started in the tourism industry in 1948 as a driver guide, then a travel agency owner, and then a cruise tour operator in 1958. In 1987, Brad and Helen Phillips developed the route called the “26 Glacier Cruise” which remains Alaska's most popular day cruise. In 1999, the M/V Klondike Express was built.
