North Texas Leaders & Executives Advocating Diversity
www.northtexaslead.orgThe goal of North Texas Leaders and Executives Advocating Diversity (LEAD) is to make North Texas the location of choice both for diverse talent that chooses to live and work in an inclusive residential and business community, and for companies who want to tap into and employ the rich array of diverse talent that increasingly does and will comprise the American work force. Thus, in an increasingly heterogeneous society, North Texas can gain the competitive advantage that will allow our businesses and communities to flourish, economically and socially, now and in the future. Recognizing the urgency of effective action and change, LEAD member companies have undertaken a cooperative effort to identify, develop, and access diverse management talent, create inclusive corporate cultures and management practices, develop robust pipelines of diverse talent, and share best practices in achieving these objectives. Recognizing the symbiotic relationship between the business community and the larger community in which it exists, LEAD has and will engage with its surrounding community in promoting the creation of resources that can assist it in achieving its mission. It will also engage with the larger North Texas community in promoting an inclusive leadership, reflective of its population, in the community’s agencies and institutions.
