Established in 2005, 3rd i provides a range of IT services, business development and training services to SME support organisations and growing SMEs. The vision of the business is to bring a “3rd i” to the needs of their clients through the provision of innovative services and solutions. The main focus of 3rd i’s work on SME business development and training has been with a range of not-for-profit, public, private and voluntary organisations. 3rd i have worked primarily with business support and business policy organisations such as the Local Enterprise Offices, SOLAS, the Management Development Council, CUDA, the SFA, Skillnet networks, Skillnet Ireland, the UCD University Industry Programme (now NovaUCD), the DCU Ryan Academy, Tangent (TCD’s Ideas Workspace) and PLATO, and SMEs at the start-up and growth stages of their development.
