The Smart City Institute is a research institute dedicated to Smart and Sustainable territories based at HEC Liège, Faculty of management of the University of Liège (Belgium). With the aim of stimulating research in this field and supporting the development of initiatives in Wallonia, Belgium and abroad, the Institute has been developing, since 2015, a recognized academic expertise in sustainable and smart territories management. And this through 4 main axes: research but also training, raising awareness and guidance for local actors.
