About Qingdao International Business Association In 2001, with China joining the WTO, an increasing number of foreign enterprises started investing in second tier cities with great potentials such as Qingdao, where many chambers of commerce from Europe and America set up rep offices. As a result, such NGOs as QBL (Qingdao Business Leaders) and QIBC (Qingdao International Business Club) emerged. QBL was founded in 2006 and open to foreign passport holders only, whereas QIBC was established in 2008 and open to both expats and local business people. 2001年，随着中国加入WTO，越来越多的外资企业开始投资像青岛这样具有发展潜力的二线城市，一些欧美发达国家的商会陆续在青岛设立办事处。伴随中外商务人士的汇集，青岛产生了民间交流组织QBL（Qingdao Business Leaders）和QIBC（Qingdao International Business Club）。 QBL成立于2006年，持有外国护照的商务人士可以申请成为会员。QIBC成立于2008年，中外国际商务人士可申请成为会员。 Mission Statement: To be a cooperative platform for international business success in Qingdao.
