We Care Solar, with its award-winning Solar Suitcase, has advanced the use of solar electricity in under-resourced health facilities to improve maternal and child health outcomes. Over the past seven years, WCS's Suitcases have brought light and essential power to more than 2400 health centers in Africa, Asia and Latin America. To date, WCS has trained 9668 health workers and technicians, and have served over 1.5 million mothers and infants.
