For more than 20 years Chance for Children has been strengthening street-connected children and their families in Ghana by providing a chance to build a better future. Chance for Children’s (CFC) programs utilize an integrated approach, focusing on health, emotional and social development, formal education, vocational training and skill-building to improve livelihoods, and family reintegration, when appropriate. Our model is based on the psychological stages of child development and fits the needs of each individual child. CFC works with over 1500 children each year in Accra, Hebron, Tamale and Kumasi, through prevention, a drop-in centre, residential homes, vocational training, street work and family reintegration. In the last two decades that CFC has been supporting street-connected children and families, the same passion, values and principles have been the focus of our work and remain at the heart of everything we do.
