Ikemeleng is a seSotho word meaning "stand on your own feet". Founded in 2002, Ikemeleng Architects is a design-focused practice based in Johannesburg. The practice has undertaken work of a variety of types, but has in recent times developed specialised expertise in the spheres of transport, health, urban design and urban renewal. As Architects, we believe that we have an important role to play in contributing to the transformation of South African society. Ikemeleng Architects is 100% HDI-owned and managed.
