Solecooler
www.solecooler.comSoleCooler aims the market of protection of the feet and hands, against severe cold or hot weather. The principle adopted by the SoleCooler's patent is based on thermodynamics and in particular on the Carnot cycle. Air is firstly compressed. During compression, the air heats up naturally (it's like warming up as you watch your bicycle pump). Once compressed, the air is expanded through the nozzle and cools naturally (like when you deflate your car tire: the air coming out is much colder while the tire is hot). To reproduce these phenomena in an insole we designed and patented a new process: closed cells of which comprise two parts made in two different materials and joined by a perfectly calibrated nozzle (in the image of a rocket nozzle). Part is very flexible and will allow thanks to the pressure of the foot, compressing the air trapped in the second portion that is less flexible. Once the foot is raised, the compressed air goes back into the flexible portion through the nozzle and therefore cools naturally. Military, workers under severe conditions (firemen, cold storage workers ...) but also joggers, runners ... and people with certain medical conditions affecting feet and hands like diabetics are our priority.
