The Edmonson County School District serves students in the Brownsville, Kentucky area. Edmonson County High School, Edmonson County Middle School, Edmonson County Great Onyx High School, the Edmonson County 5/6 Center, Kyrock Elementary School, and South Edmonson Elementary are all part of the Edmonson County School District. The staff of the Edmonson County School District accepts the responsibility to provide meaningful learning experiences that will enable all students to reach high levels of academic and non-academic performance, demonstrate a positive social/emotional growth and become productive members of our society. It is the belief of the Edmonson County Board of Education that the basic purpose of our school system should be to provide the learner with meaningful experiences designed to facilitate his/her development into a productive member of society.
