Caregiving Network is a social justice platform facilitating business support for Care businesses providing goods and services to caregivers and care recipients. Providing a caregiving community with outreach and peer connections for support, connecting underserved caregivers with click-through access to free non-profits, and working on a job board for caregivers to earn extra money and hire part-time help for respite care. Anonymity eliminates discrimination based on race and place in life, allowing caregivers to support each other based on relevant shared experiences. Anonymous Voice Chat allows those whose first language is not English to participate comfortably. Voice is also a higher way of communication. Recent studies indicate that 73% of employees are also providing caregiving. With 158.46 employees in the workforce as of March 2022, it indicates that 115M employees are caregiving, debunking the huge range of 43M-63M often quoted. We have the plan to increase the amount of money and support these underserved caregivers require to care for their families and have access to much-needed services including respite care. Our successful experience is the basis for creating ExtendaTouch. The founders previously assembled four million members who engaged in more than five million hours of conversations monthly. Those connections facilitated lifelong relationships that provided care and companionship for isolated and marginalized individuals. They naturally gravitated to an online service that fostered personal communication and the exchange of information and support. We welcome all caregivers and the Caregiver Network provides free community services.
