OUR VISION To develop a complex trauma-informed community in Western Australia. OUR MISSION - To enhance service delivery in Western Australia for people with a history of complex trauma. - To support the multi-disciplinary professional network that offers trauma-informed services to people with a history of complex trauma. OUR OBJECTIVES Professional Membership Association - To offer a professional home to service providers who work with people with a history of complex trauma. Standards Of Practice - To support and encourage a high standard of clinical expertise from our members. Workshops & Supervision - To offer local opportunities for trauma-specific professional development, at a reduced rate for members of the Association. Referral Pathways - To facilitate enhanced public-private-NGO referral pathways for people with a history of complex trauma and their primary-care service providers. Support Network - To provide a confidential members’ online forum for service providers across Western Australia for the exchange of ideas, information, professional development opportunities, and peer support about matters pertaining to complex trauma. Multi-disciplinary Collaboration - To seek cooperative liaisons with other organisations with similar objectives. Public Education - To advance and promote public knowledge about the nature, prevalence, and costs of complex trauma, in an effort to augment services to people with a history of complex trauma.
