Eco2librium LLC. is a certified B-Corporation Company based in Kenya with its headquarters in Boise, Idaho USA. Eco2librium utilizes environmental and social businesses solutions for the good of communities in Kenya. Our core efforts are focused on provision of clean energy alternatives to communities and conservation of Kakamega forest in Western Kenya. Through our innovative activities, we reduce the amount of emissions in the atmosphere, create jobs for men, women and the youth and improve communities’ livelihoods. Eco2librium commenced operations in 2010 with the Forest Again project to rehabilitate degraded parts of Kakamega Rainforest. The Stoves for Life project officially began in 2011 with the aim of distributing and installing energy efficient ceramic cook-stoves in communities at exceptionally subsidized prices. Later on, in 2016, Eco2librium established the briquettes project which involves the conversion of sugarcane waste into cleaner and more efficient cooking pellets as compared to wood and charcoal. In the same year, Eco2librium, at the executive level launched operations of Solibrium, a private company dealing with the purchase and distribution of solar modules to communities in Kenya. Eco2librium is also partnered with KILNS, a Community Bases initiative that incentivizes community groups to increase their cook-stoves production.
