The UCL Debating Society is UCL's oldest and arguably most prestigious society. Established in 1828, we are proud to present a passionate debating environment modelled on the foundations of free speech and critical thought that our university embodies. We provide a politically and religiously neutral environment to discuss important world issues, and our events are a focal point for campus discussions on a host of topics.
