Refocus918 has two main aims. The first is to support young footballers post Academy release with the transition into the next chapter of their life. Our secondary aim is to support football clubs with the release of young footballers with care. We want to make a difference. We provide players the opportunity to pause and reflect on the change that has occurred, think about personal resilience and help them to develop tools and techniques to move forward. Each young footballer who has been released will have access to four personal and professional coaching sessions over a three month period.
