PRIDE Healing Center (PHC) is an LGBTQ-friendly clinic designed to offer sensitive and affirming care to adults, children and families. We offer low cost individual therapy, groups, and workshops. As a partner-clinic of the Psychological Services Center at LIU Post, we staff graduate student therapists under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists. All of our clinicians are rigorously trained in LGBTQ+ cultural issues and stay up-to-date on news, programs, and policies that impact the community. For sexual and gender minorities, it can be tough to find a safe place to meet mental health needs. Our mission at PRIDE Healing Center is to help LGBTQ+ community members impacted by difficult life experiences or traumatic events to re-establish a sense of safety and predictability in the world by providing affirming therapeutic care. We strive to foster a safe and welcoming environment where adults, children, and families feel they can let their guard down and attend to issues that are disrupting their lives.
